In addition to the solid brass ‘Duragear’ main gearing system, German made HPCR bearings, aluminium frame and side plates and a carbon matrix drag system, the STX offers up an infini spool II system, titanium coated worm shaft and an ‘Everslik’ coated pinion shaft. The Revo HPCR (high performance corrosion resistant) bearings are manufactured in Germany to the highest standards. Rather than just coating them with a rust resistant solution, these bearings are actually fabricated from a high quality rust resistant material. This simply means that they run smoother, handle higher RPM, have extremely high tolerances and will perform under the toughest of conditions.
